GETTING TO KNOW YOU
It’s very important to me to get to know you so I can capture your true personalities and what’s most important to you in your photos. After you initially contact me I love to set up a time to meet in person over a cup of coffee or a drink to get to know you, hear about your wedding day and make sure we’re a good fit. An engagement session is also a great way for us to get to know each other and to build a friendship. However, if you choose to forgo an engagement session, I just might have to take you out to dinner so we can spend some time together before your wedding day!
I’m obsessed with capturing the true spirit of my subjects, including emotional, funny and even awkward moments. I’m not afraid to keep shooting through your parents crying during the ceremony or when your uncle is doing something embarrassing at the reception. These are the photos that capture the essence of your day and the photos that you’ll appreciate when you look back on them in the future. You will receive about 100 photos per hour of coverage so my typical wedding yields at least 800 images. It is a lot of photos but I like to give you every moment I capture because you never know when that photo of grandma kissing her baby granddaughter on the cheek will become important.
HIGH RESOLUTION FILES
I’m here to help make the photography experience as fun and easy going as possible for you. I will not confuse you with pricing, restrict where you can post your images or hold your high resolution images hostage. I want you to own your high resolution images so you can print them at your leisure. So, you will receive your high resolution images on a thumb drive so you can print them at any lab of your choice and share them on social media.
After your wedding I will choose my favorite images that best tell the story of your day. I will design your album with those images and send you an online proof. At that point you can leave comments on each page and let me know the revisions you’d like me to make. Once we get the album perfect you can approve the design, choose your cover options and I’ll place the order. Albums typically take about 2-3 weeks to handcraft and are delivered to your doorstep. You’ll be able to look through sample albums during our first meeting.
